The Women’s Asia Cup, established in 2004 and organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), is being held two years once in either ODI or T20 format. Speaking about Women’s Asia Cup winners, India has dominated the tournament over the years. The Women in Blue have clinched the title seven times in the tournament’s history, while Bangladesh Women have won it once, in 2018.

Initially a two-team competition when it first commenced in 2004 and held as a 50-over format until 2008, the Women’s Asia Cup has evolved significantly. Now, in its ninth edition, the tournament features eight teams divided into two groups of four. Dambulla is the host city, with the final scheduled for July 28, 2024.
India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Nepal and Malaysia have competed at the Women’s Asia Cup, but only two teams have gone on to lift the trophy so far.
The second best team is Bangladesh, who have won the Women’s Asia Cup once, while Sri Lanka and Pakistan have finished as runners-up 5 and 2 times, respectively.
