Team India head coach Rahul Dravid ended the uneasy silence over the absence of Virat Kohli amid the ongoing IND vs ENG Test series. Dravid breaks silence on Kohli’s availability for IND vs ENG 3rd Test

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Dravid said that it was best to ask the selectors about Kohli’s availability for the 3rd Test. He added that the squad will be announced by the selectors over the coming days. Further, Jammy said that they would reach out to Kohli and find out his status.

It’s best to ask the selectors. Selectors will be in better position to tell you as they are going to announce the squad in few days. We will connect with him and find out,” Dravid said.

“Virat hasn’t made himself unavailable for 3rd Test yet. He only informed us about the first two Tests. So, he is available for selection unless he says otherwise. There will be more clarity in a day or two,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.
