The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on November 20 (Monday) announced the Indian squad for the upcoming IND vs AUS T20 series. Meanwhile, fans on the social media felt dejected after Sanju Samson was not named in the squad. Some of the fans also compared Sanju Samson with Suryakumar Yadav as they felt that justice is not being done to Samson. Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav will be leading the home side in the upcoming IND vs AUS fixture.

Ishan Kishan named over Sanju Samson

BCCI has selected Ishan Kishan and Jitesh Sharma as the wicket-keeping options for the upcoming IND vs AUS T20 series. It must be mentioned that, Jitesh Sharma is yet to make his debut in the international level. On the other hand, there is not much difference between Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson when talking about the 20-over format. However, Samson holds the edge over Kishan in terms of the strike-rate both in IPL and at the international level.
