Shikhar Dhawan to miss PBKS vs MI IPL clash?

Earlier, PBKS head coach Sanjay Bangar had confirmed that Dhawan might not be seen in action till April 21. “Dhawan has a shoulder injury. So, he’s likely to be out for a couple of days games I would say. Having an experienced opener, somebody like Shikhar, who has experience of playing on such wickets, becomes extremely crucial for the team,” confirmed Bangar.

To note, Dhawan hasn’t had the best time with the bat in IPL 2024. He has scored 152 runs from five innings at an average of 30.40 and a strike rate of 125.61. However, the left-handed batter holds a lot of experience in IPL as Punjab are expected to miss his services in the upcoming PBKS vs MI clash.

With Shikhar Dhawan missing in PBKS vs MI IPL match, English all-rounder Sam Curran will be leading the Punjab side in the upcoming match to be played on Thursday (April 18).
