Will Rohit Sharma play tomorrow’s match against Prime Minister XI?

Rohit Sharma is back, and now, before the pink-ball Test, there is pink-ball practice match coming up as India will play against PM XI. So, what can we expect? Will Rohit Sharma play tomorrow's match?

Now, when everyone expected India to struggle in the Perth Test match, they surprised everyone and silenced the critics, registering a massive win over a full-strength Aussie team. And not to forget, India didn’t have Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami in the mix. Despite all these odds, Jasprit Bumrah led the team, and not only did he secure his first Test win as captain, but more importantly, the team gained a morale-boosting victory, which was big considering India had been whitewashed at home by New Zealand.

Now that the first Test is done and dusted, the second one is just around the corner. But before that, there are two days of practice ahead. That’s right, India will play Prime Minister XI with a pink ball before the second Test. This game will be played over two days , November 30 and December 1. The last time India played a pink-ball Test was against Sri Lanka at home during the 2021/22 season.

But the question is, what about Rohit Sharma? Will he play in this upcoming clash? He wasn’t there for the first Test due to personal reasons, but now he’s back with the team and was seen at the Indian dugout in Perth. So what can we expect? Will he play the practice match, or will he head straight to Adelaide for the second Test?

Will Rohit Sharma play tomorrow

Now the question is whether India’s regular Test captain, Rohit Sharma, will play or not. For his fans, there is good news as the Hitman is expected to play in this practice game, as he is back and all set to lead the team. Since a pink-ball Test at the Adelaide Oval is going to be big, India will look to forget what happened in the past during the pink-ball Test against Australia, when they were bowled out for 36, and will aim to defeat Aussies just like they did in the first Test. The match is scheduled to start on December 6 in Adelaide.
