Overnight rain has been a concern in Chennai. The other day saw the entire ground covered with rain pouring till 5 AM in the morning. While Day 3 saw no delay, it can be the case on Day 4. Furthermore, the forecast predicts the day to be cloudy which can in turn favour India’s fast bowlers.

Will rain soil Day 4 of IND vs BAN 1st Test?

As for the game, Bangladesh have been tasked to chase down a huge target of 515 runs. The visitors ended Day 3 with a score of 158/4, meaning the visitors now have 2 days to chase 357 runs for the win. But conditions won’t be easy for the Bangladesh Cricket Team.

The hint of rain and cloudy conditions in Chennai will make it difficult for the batters. In such a scenario, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep can deeply benefit from their swing bowling.

As things stand, the rain threat isn’t huge. However, there are chances where the game can see some short stoppages if the heavens open up.
