KL Rahul is most likely to be released by the Lucknow Super Gaints before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 as the reports suggest. Many franchises may approach him to join their teams, but Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fans are particularly keen on seeing their former player return to the team in IPL 2025.
Will KL Rahul play for RCB in IPL 2025?
The Bengaluru player joined RCB in 2013 but was picked up by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2014 and played for them in the IPL 2015. He returned to RCB in 2016 but was sidelined in 2017 due to injury. RCB might consider him for a comeback as captain, especially as they look for a replacement for Faf du Plessis.
In a recent video, the wicketkeeper-batter hinted that he is willing to join RCB and hopes to be picked by the team in the IPL mega auction.
“I am a die-hard RCB fan. I have been following RCB for a very long time, and you have played for RCB in the past. As for the current rumors, I won’t say anything, but I am just wishing and praying that you come back to RCB and excel here,” the fan said. KL Rahul responded by saying, “Let’s hope so.”
