WI vs PAK 2nd Test: Top 5 changes & Probable XI for Babar Azam’s Pakistan & Kraigg Brathwaite’s West Indies ahead of the last Test – After a thrilling Test match, Babar Azam’s Pakistan and Kraigg Brathwaite’s West Indies will be gearing up for the second Test of the series here at the Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica starting from August 20. Pakistan failed to capitalise on the momentum they got in the last session of the first Test while riding on a superb batting display by tailender Kemar Roach-West Indies snatched victory from the jaws of defeat to win the game.

WI vs PAK LIVE score 1st Test: Kemar Roach’s heroics seal epic 1 wicket win for West Indies, take 1-0 lead against Pakistan

Jayden Seales was just superb in the game with eight wickets to his name, while on the other hand, Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi is in scintillating form with the ball as he also claimed eight wickets in the match. Both sides have delivered an all-round performance in the game yet there are few players whose form will be a big concern for team mangement.

We at Insidesport will take you through the list of changes both Pakistan and West Indies will look to make ahead of the last match and their playing XI.

Imran Butt in place of Abdullah Shafique

Imran Butt scored 11 runs in the first innings and a duck in the 2nd innings as an opener. Pakistan need to make a change in their top order. In 2021 he has played three Tests for Pakistan in which he has only scored 104 runs with an average of 26.00 and just one fifty in six innings. Pakistan can give a chance to young Abdullah Shafique who has shined in domestic cricket.

WI vs Pak: We are in good position, need to restrict visitors to 200, says Roachz

Changes in Pakistan playing XI

Yasir Shah – Sajid Khan

Veteran Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah is out of form in the year 2021. In the first game of the series, he failed to pick up a single wicket while in 2021 he has picked up just eight wickets in three games with an average of 37.75. As the pich in Sabina Park will be 1 match old it can help spinners so Pakistan can think of playing Sajid Khan and Yasir in the playing XI.

Probable Playing XI for Pakistan

Abid Ali, Abdullah Shafique, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam (c), Fawad Alam, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Faheem Ashraf, Sajid Khan, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Abbas, Shaheen Afridi

Changes in West Indies playing XI

Nkrumah Bonner – Shai Hope

A duck and a five-run knock has put Nkrumah Bonner’s place in the side in danger with veteran Shai Hope sitting out. In two matches in the year 2021, he has scored just 15 runs at an average of 5.00. In 2021 he has just picked one wicket with his leg-spin. Hope who is struggling with the form can be a great addition in the team as he can provide the much need experience in the middle order.

Kyle Mayers – Rahkeem Cornwall

Two ducks in two innings for Kyle Mayers shows that he is out of form. On a dry pitch of Sabina Park Rahkeem Cornwall could be a great option. The pitch will assist spinners and adding Cornwall can give Windies a cousin in the batting as well.

Jomel Warrican – Alzarri Joseph

Left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican can be replaced by Alzarri Joseph as he has failed to take a single wicket in the first Test. Joseph, who is warming the bench for quite a long time now, has played 16 Test in which he has picked 38 wickets

Probable Playing XI for West Indies

Kraigg Brathwaite (c), Kieran Powell, Shai Hope, Rahkeem Cornwall, Roston Chase, Jermaine Blackwood, Joshua Da Silva (wk), Jason Holder, Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales, Alzarri Joseph
