Gujarat Giants will be without the services of Harleen Deol and Sneh Rana when they face Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2024 game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Gujarat Giants captain Beth Mooney won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Harleen Deol who was seen limping out of the Gujarat Giants’ clash against UP Warriorz after injuring her left leg while fielding, has sat out of the game. Harleen also was said to have had discomfort in her thigh and her quadriceps. She has been replaced by Veda Krishnamurthy. Sneh Rana will also miss the game due to illness, while Tarannum Pathan will come in for her, making her WPL debut.
Gujarat Giants with dismal start in WPL 2024
Gujarat Giants have made a shaky start to their campaign, being winless since the opener. Starting with Mumbai Indians, they have lost three matches on the trot against RCB and Up Warriors. Thus Beth Mooney and co will look for a win as they face Delhi Capitals, against whom they have had their last win, that too in WPL 2023.
