Star cricketer Virat Kohli has cemented his legacy as one of the most successful batters in the Indian Premier League while representing Royal Challengers Bengaluru. His remarkable achievements extend beyond the league, as he has amassed an extraordinary number of runs for the Indian men’s team on the international stage. His prowess has also made him the most followed Indian on Instagram.
Despite his immense social media following, Virat had refrained from sharing personal or team milestones over the past two to three years, instead focusing his feed on ad collaborations and brand endorsements. However, he recently archived all such posts, sparking curiosity among netizens about the reason behind this unexpected change.
Why Kohli delete his Instagram posts?
During a recent interaction with Danish Sait at the IPL 2025, Virat shed light on his decision. He shared that he is currently in a phase where he prefers minimal engagement on social media. While the future remains uncertain, for now, he has chosen to step away from endorsements online.
“I’m in a very interesting space with social media. At the moment, I’m not inclined towards engaging much. You never know what the future holds. But this reset was definitely needed,” Virat expressed in a video uploaded by RCB on social media.
