Who scored most runs in last Champions Trophy?

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is actively preparing for the impending ICC Champions Trophy, set to take place early next year. Speaking about the last ICC Champions Trophy played back in 2017, Pakistan defeated India in the final match of the tournament to be crowned champions. Despite losing the Champions Trophy, Indian batters dominated the list of most runs scored in ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

Most runs in ICC Champions Trophy 2017

The opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan topped the list of most runs in the tournament. While Dhawan scored 338 runs, Rohit amassed 304 runs in 5 innings. The third on the list was Bangladeshi senior batter, Tamim Iqbal.

Team India star batter, Virat Kohli and Joe Root finish the top five list after scoring 258 runs each. However, Root scored those runs in four innings. On the other hand, Kohli took five matches.
