Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have appointed Sridharan Sriram as their new assistant coach for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on February 24. Sriram is a former Indian cricketer who represented India in eight ODI matches between 2000 and 2004.

Sridharan Sriram is an Indian cricket coach and former cricketer. A skilled left-handed batsman and left-arm orthodox spinner, he featured in both the Indian Cricket and the Indian Premier League. He was a key member of the Indian squad that finished as runners-up in the 2000 ICC Champions Trophy. On August 19, 2022, Sriram was appointed as the technical consultant for Bangladesh’s T20I team, a role he held until the 2022 T20 World Cup.
