Ramandeep Singh started his Indian Premier League (IPL) career with Mumbai Indians which acquired him for his base price of INR 20 lakh in the IPL 2022 season. Ahead of the IPL 2024 season, Kolkata franchise acquired Ramandeep Singh’s services for his base price of INR INR 20 lakh for the ongoing season.
Ramandeep Singh hails from Chandigarh and is known for his big hitting abilities. He came to the limelight during the 2021-22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with his impressive 54 runs in 23 balls against Odisha. Apart from his batting skills, Ramandeep Singh is more than handy with ball in hand.
In the 2022 IPL edition, Ramandeep Singh played his debut match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the Mumbai Indians at MCA Stadium in Pune. Before his KKR debut in 2024, he had scored a total of 45 runs with a strike rate of 112.50 in 5 matches.
Ramandeep Singh also added surprising elements with his bowling skills and bowled some decent spells for Mumbai. However, he will now look to give his best with the ball for the Men in Purple and Gold.
