Hailing from Madhya Pradesh, 26-year-old pacer Arshad Khan has made his debut against the Delhi Capitals for LSG in the IPL. Before that, Khan was with the Mumbai Indians franchise for two seasons in 2022 and 2023.Having played all his domestic cricket for Madhya Pradesh, Khan used to travel regularly for 300 km from Seoni to Jabalpur to play cricket matches.
Highest wicket taker in the CK Nayudu Trophy
Khan came to the spotlight in the 2019-20 CK Nayudu Trophy, where he ended up as the leading wicket-taker with 35 wickets, and showing his all-round abilities, he made 400 runs for Madhya Pradesh that year.

After consistently performing at domestic tournaments, the Mumbai Indians picked him in the 2022 auction at a base price of Rs 20 lakh. Despite being ruled out due to injury for the entire season, he was replaced by Kumar Kartikeya. However, MI still retained him for the 2023 season, where he played six matches and picked up five wickets.
LSG showed their trust
After a poor IPL season in 2023, MI released Khan, as MI decided to trust foreign pacers. With the arrival of Jofra Archer, Khan was released. However, LSG showed their trust in him and picked him up for a price of Rs 20 lakh.
