Aman Khan was first picked by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 20 Lakh ahead of IPL 2021. The Mumbai cricketer played only one game for the Men in Purple last season.
While he didn’t get much chance to showcase his talent with KKR, the youngster has been backed by coach Ricky Ponting and director Sourav Ganguly in the Delhi camp.

Who is Aman Hakim Khan?
Aman Khan’s journey in cricket began at a young age after watching his father, who played Under-19 cricket for Mumbai. He played a lot of age-group cricket alongside Shreyas Iyer, his Kolkata Knight Riders skipper. Pravin Amre, who also coached Shreyas Iyer, was his coach from the age of 11. Aman’s dedication and hard work helped him earn a spot in the KKR squad in the IPL 2021 season. He made his IPL debut for KKR last season.

Aman Khan was picked up by the Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 20 lakhs in IPL 2021 and was traded with Shardul Thakur ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction. He made his IPL debut for DC in 2023 with the match against Lucknow Super Giants on April 1. While, the 23-year-old had a forgettable outing on his debut, getting dismissed on just 4, he showed why he was picked by Delhi in trade deal as he showed his composure and skills during a pressure situation against GT.
