Longest six in IPL history
As stated above, Albie Morkel has hit the longest maximum in IPL. He achieved the feat back in the inaugural edition of the IPL. Surprisingly, former Indian pacer Praveen Kumar is second on the list after hitting a six measuring 124 meters. Former Australian batter, Adam Gilchrist comes third with a six measuring 122. The fourth and fifth spot has been taken by Robin Uthappa (121 m) and Chris Gayle (119 m).
Veterans, Ross Taylor and Yuvraj Singh have also smashed a maximum measuring 119 meters. Ben Cutting (117 m), Liam Livingstone (117 m) and RCB skipper Faf du Plessis (115 m) complete our list of top 10 longest maximums in IPL history.
