The Indian Premier League is gearing up for its 17th edition, with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) set to take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the opener on March 22 at the MA Chidambaram Cricket Stadium. After carefully assessing the teams and their squads, we have made a prediction for the winner of IPL 2024.

Gujarat Titans have the highest probability of winning the IPL title at 14.30%, followed closely by the Chennai Super Kings at 13.90%. Both teams also have high probabilities of reaching the final and qualifying for different stages of the tournament.
The Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, and Rajasthan Royals also have relatively high probabilities of success and could reach the playoffs and then the final.
On the other hand, the Sunrisers Hyderabad have the lowest probability of winning the IPL title at 5.20% and the highest probability of finishing at the bottom of the league at 22.70%.
Delhi Capitals could end up second from bottom with only a 6.20% chance of winning the IPL. RCB have to fight their way out as the table suggests that they only have a 9.40% chance of winning the IPL trophy this time.
