Ahead of the World Cup Warm-up clash, both Pakistan and New Zealand had their first practice session in Hyderabad. While both teams opted for a morning session, the match will be under lights.
For Pakistan, all eyes were on Haris Rauf, who suffered a shoulder injury during Asia Cup. There were doubts whether he would be fit for World Cup. But the pacer has put those doubts to bed. But it’s still unclear if Haris Rauf will play any part in the Pakistan vs New Zealand World Cup warm-up game. However, he did turn up for practice and had a full session on Thursday.
As for New Zealand, they would aim to return to form. The runners-up of the last edition have lost 11 games this year, winning just 8 out of 20 ODIs.
