What will happen if IND vs SL final is washed out on reserve day?

To get a result, a total of 20 overs per side needs to be completed between India and Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2023 Final. However, if the rain persists on reserve day as well and the minimum overs quota is not met, India and Sri Lanka will share the Asia Cup 2023 trophy together.

Notably, this wouldn’t be the first time that India and Sri Lanka have jointly held a trophy in a multi-nation tournament. The ICC Champions Trophy 2002 Final between the two nations witnessed a similar fate when persistent rain at the same R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo washed out the game.

However, cricket fans from both countries will be hoping for a result and a winner on this occasion.
