Shivam Dube is proving his worth in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) with a fiery fifty on December 3 against Services. Retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Dube has demonstrated that he will be a valuable asset to the team and looks set to carry forward his excellent form from the previous season.
Dube remained unbeaten with a blistering 71 off 37 balls for Mumbai, alongside Suryakumar Yadav, who contributed a solid 70 off 46 deliveries.

To retain Shivam Dube, CSK offered him Rs. 12 crore ahead of the auction. Alongside him, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Matheesha Pathirana, Ravindra Jadeja, and MS Dhoni were also included in CSK’s retention list.
