Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli continued to share another spiritual quote on his Instagram account on Wednesday. The former India captain, who hit 250 million followers on Instagram, and whose brand value recently touched 1000 Crores, has been quite active on social media since his failure in World Test Championship (WTC) Final against Australia. The 34-year-old hasbeen posting random philosophical quotes on Instagram, which has raised quite a few eyebrows.
Kohli’s latest post had a powerful and inspirational quote that read, “The mind lives in doubt. The heart lives in trust. Trust is the bridge that leads to freedom from the ego-mind…,” he wrote.

Soon after this Instagram story, the former India captain also posted a picture of himself completing 12 years in Test cricket. Kohli expressed gratitude for representing for over a decade in the longest format of the game and said, “12 years in test cricket today. Forever grateful,”

Kohli has been on a spiritual posting spree ever since his dismissal for 49 against Australia in the fourth innings of the WTC Final Test. The right-hand batter’s shot selection was questioned after he was dismissed chasing a wide ball. Sunil Gavaskar lashed out at Kohli for playing an expansive drive when the situation demanded to play waiting game.
Later, Kohli hit back at Gavaskar by posting a cryptic Tweet after India’s loss 209-run thrashing at the Oval. For now, the 34-year-old is enjoying his break and is in London with Anushka Sharma. After that, attention shifts to the West Indies tour. India are due to play two Tests, three ODI, and five T20Is starting from July nine.
Kohli is expected to play the two Test matches and not the white-ball part of the Caribbean tour. BCCI are set to announce the squads for the Windies series on June 27.
