Amidst all the T20 and franchise league cricket going around, true cricket fans will be hoping to see a neck-to-neck Test affair going on currently between the hosts West Indies and South Africa at the iconic Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad. While we could only see 15 overs on Day 1, the next two days have been superb.
South Africa opted to bat first and made a decent total of 357 runs, on the back of skipper Temba Bavuma’s 86. Jomel Warrican bagged four wickets for the hosts. West Indies needed a great batting performance to gain an advantage in the match. However, none of their batters converted their starts. They are still trailing by 212 runs.
