Amidst all the T20 and franchise league cricket going around, true cricket fans will be hoping to see a neck-to-neck Test affair going on currently between the hosts West Indies and South Africa at the iconic Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad. While we could only see 15 overs on Day 1, the second day was a superb one.
South Africa dominated the opening stages of the Test, with skipper Temba Bavuma’s 86 laying the foundation for a substantial total. However, a series of soft dismissals prevented them from capitalizing fully on their good work. The pendulum swung dramatically in the final session as West Indies struck four crucial blows. Now South Africa were bundled out for 357.
