Went for a dump: Ravi Shastri takes a dig at India’s collapse in SA vs IND 2nd Test

Ravi Shastri made fun of India Cricket Team's horrendous show as they lost 6 wickets for zero in SA vs IND 2nd Test in Cape Town.

W 0 W 0 W 0 0 W 0 W W: In a span of 11 deliveries or 12 minutes, India Cricket Team went from 153/4 to 153 all out. India lost six wickets for zero in the SA vs IND 2nd Test in Cape Town. And former India coach Ravi Shastri made a witty comment while on comms.

“153/4 and 153 all out. If someone went around the corner for a dump and has come back, India have been bowled out for 153,” Ravi Shastri said during the commentary stint.

Pommie Mbangwa did try to salvage the moment by saying “or a drink or whatever” but the damage was done. Ravi Shastri’s on comm jibe lived on social media.

As many as six Indian batters were dismissed for ducks. Only Rohit Sharma (39), Shubman Gill (36) and Virat Kohli (46) managed to score in double digits. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna were all dismissed for ducks.

It all began in Lungi Ngidi’s sixth over. He first dismissed KL Rahul for 8 with an assist from the uneven bounce on the Newlands pitch. Ravindra Jadeja was the next to fall as he also fell to a bouncer for a duck. Jasprit Bumrah was his last victim as the over read W0W0W0.

Kagiso Rabada finished things off with wickets of Virat Kohli and Prasidh Krishna. In between, Mohammed Siraj was run out to make it 153/4 to 153 all out in a span of 11 deliveries.
