Close your eyes and he was never gone! After missing cricket in India colours for 524 days, Rishabh Pant looked like a man possessed to prove his worth. The destructive southpaw came to bat at number 3 and began his fireworks. He slammed a powerful 53 run knock from 32 balls before retiring.
Pant took on the Bangladeshi spinners, especially Shakib al Hasan as he hammered 3 sixes in the last over of the powerplay. Promoted up the order, to get more game time, Pant made the best of the opportunity.
Rohit Sharma opted to bat first after winning the toss. While Sanju Samson as an opener didn’t work, but Rishabh Pant batting in at number 3 gamble worked for the Indian Cricket Team.
Rishabh Pant Blazes Fire!

Pant reached his fifty in style with a blistering four. But Pant immediately retired. Since it is a warm-up match, India needs to give opportunity to every batter to get time on the crease. Pant hammered 4 fours and 4 sixes batting with a strike rate of 165.62.
