“We won’t go down without a fight”: Bangladeshi fans dismiss one-sided IND vs BAN match in ICC Champions Trophy

"It's not one-sided," this is what Bangladesh fans said about the ongoing India vs Bangladesh Champions Trophy match, as they want their team to pull off a miracle.

It’s safe to say that, when it comes to Asian rivalry, after India vs Pakistan, the match between India and Bangladesh is also gaining massive attention. And why not? Just like Indian fans, Bangladesh cricket supporters are known for their passion for this beautiful sport, and once again, their love for the Bangladesh team came into the spotlight. Since India is playing against The Tigers in a Champions Trophy match at Dubai International Stadium, it’s not surprising that their fans showcased their love for their cricket team.

Talking to InsideSport, Bangladesh supporters appeared confident and clearly dismissed any thoughts of a one-sided game against India. While many experts predict the match will favour India, it seems that their fans want their team to go full throttle against India.

No chance of a one-sided game!

The Tigers’ fans also said that even if they lose, they expect their team to fight, as they are no longer an easy team to defeat. Some also reminded that in the last five head-to-head encounters, Bangladesh has had the upper hand, winning three matches while India claimed two victories. Apart from this, one fan also mentioned that the Run Machine Virat Kohli is his favourite player.

Bangladesh batters try to pull off a miracle

After seeing the team five wickets down for less than 50 runs, there was a moment of panic for Bangladesh. However, Jakir Ali and Towhid Hridoy are now trying to stabilize the innings – or in fact, they already did to some extent, helping the team pass 150 runs. We also saw some poor fielding from the Indian side, which was unexpected. Rohit Sharma, known for his extremely safe catching in the slip, dropped a catch, and Hardik Pandya also missed one. This gave the Bangladesh batters a chance to get back into the match.
