We don’t care: Hassan Ali slams critics for questioning Pakistan pacers in AUS vs PAK Test

Earlier, Waqar Younis rued the lack of speed in the Pakistan pace battery saying that there was no real pace in the team.

Pakistan pacer Hassan Ali has hit back at the critics for raising questions the pacers in the ongoing AUS vs PAK Test series. Hassan Ali said that the Pakistan pacers do not care about what is being said against them and their sole focus is on winning the AUS vs PAK Test match.

I don’t know whose pace has dropped as my focus has never been just on pace. I’ve never bowled at 150kph. I think it’s better to stick to the area around the top of off stump. I haven’t heard these rumours about pace dropping and we don’t care about them. Our focus is on the game & that’s where it should be,” said Hassan Ali.

Earlier, Waqar Younis rued the lack of speed in the Pakistan pace battery saying that there was no real pace in the team which lost comprehensively to Australia in the 1st Test. Australian pacer Mitchell Starc had also commented on the same after first AUS vs PAK Test.

Another thing that I’m worried about is that always when we come to Australia, one thing that excites is the fast bowling and this time around I’m not seeing that. I’m seeing medium pacers or slow medium pacers, allrounders, there’s no real pace. People used to come and watch Pakistan pace bowlers really running in hard and bowling 150 clicks. That’s what I’m not seeing there,” said Waqar Younis.

Speaking about AUS vs PAK 2nd Test, the Pakistani pacers managed to scalp just three wickets on Day 1 of the match. Australia have managed to post 187/3 in 66 overs with rain playing the spoilsport on the opening day of the Boxing Day Test.
