South African bowlers with best bowling figures in IPL
Before Wayne Parnell the previous South African bowler to record the best bowling figures in IPL was Lungi Ngidi. The right arm pacer had picked up four wickets for 10 runs while playing for Chennai Super Kings against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in 2018.
