Sri Lanka cricket team’s wicketkeeper Sadeera Samarawickrama grabbed a stunning catch behind the stumps to dismiss Rahmat Shah in SL vs AFG one-off Test in Colombo.
Afghanistan were taking pushing forwars with Rahmat Shah’s quick half-century. However, a brilliant anticipation from Samarawickrama ended Shah’s innings.
In the 46th over, Shah tried to play a paddle sweep off Prabath Jayasuriya’s delivery. However, Samarawickrama quickly moved to his left and plucked a low catch near his shin to end Rahat’s knock on 91.
Afghanistan were eventually bowled out of 198 in the first innings. Sri Lankan openers have put on a strong partnership with 12 more overs to go on Day 1.
