Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne was given a death stare by none other than Virat Kohli. The incident happened during the second innings of the IND vs AUS World Cup final after Marnus Labuschagne came out to bat. Coming to defend a small total of 240 runs, team India had to bowl well with the new ball and they did manage to get some early wickets. As soon as wickets kept falling, Virat Kohli, as well as other Indian players, were seen absolutely thrilled while celebrating.

Australia were 47/3 at one stage

The Aussies were down to 47/3 before Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head provided some stability. To keep that in mind, Kohli, while changing his position after an over got completed, looked at Labuschagne for some time. The Australian kept his eye on him, while Kohli exhibited zero emotions, making the crowd go wild at Narendra Modi Stadium. After facing early mishaps, both Marnus Labuschagne and Travi Head steadied their side as the duo stitched a 125+ run-partnership.

Earlier in the match, Australia won the toss and opted to have a bowl first in Ahmedabad. The decision proved to be right as team India went managed just 240 runs in their allotted 50 overs. For India, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul stroked fifties with the bat. For Australia, Mitchell Starc grabbed 3 wickets as he was the pick of the bowlers for the Men in Yellow.
