New Zealand’s Troy Johnson and Nick Kelly combined to take a stunning catch on the boundary line in a Super Smash match between the Wellington Firebirds and Central Stags at the Basin Reserve on Saturday.
Chasing 149, Stags’ Will Young, who was batting on 7, lofted straight drive off Michael Sneddenwide’s delivery. Troy Johnson, who was stationed at mid-on sprinted to the boundary.

Troy not only pulled off a stunning diving grab, but he somehow managed to toss the ball back infield over his head, where Nick Kelly completed the catch.
However, despite losing the early wicket, Central Stags managed to chase down the target with 3.1 overs to spare. Jack Boyle was the top scorer for the visitors, scoring 57 of 43 deliveries.
