The Indian team on Thursday arrived at New Delhi from the Caribbeans after a delay of almost 5 days. The Indian contingent, after landing in New Delhi, moved straight to the ITC Maurya Hotel where they were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and the general public alike.
Return delayed

After the famous win in Barbados, Team India’s return were delayed due to Hurricane Beryl wreaking havoc in the Caribbeans. BCCI arranged a special flight for Rohit Sharma and his men to return home.

Warm reception at team hotel
A huge crowd gathered at the airport in the wee hours of the morning to welcome the heroes. Rohit Sharma and his men moved straight to the ITC Maurya Hotel from the airport. The ITC Maurya staffs were equally welcoming, with Indian coach Rahul Dravid being congratulated by the support staff of the hotel for the outstanding feat.
The Indian cricketers and support staff will meet PM Narendra Modi for breakfast before flying to Mumbai for the open bus parade.
