Members of the IND vs WI ODI squad have arrived in Barbados for the 3-match series starting from July 27. While likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli are currently featuring in IND vs WI 2nd Test in Trinidad, the players, who have arrived for the ODI series, were seen enjoying their off-day.

Suryakumar Yadav, and Umran Mallik were seen playing beach volleyball in Barbados. Surykumar’s wife, Devisha, shot the video of both players enjoying beach volleyball and shared it on her Instagram Stories.
Sanju Samson Hits Gym
Meanwhile, Sanju Samson hit the Gym in Barbados ahead of the IND vs WI ODIs. The series will be crucial for Sanju Samson to prove his mettle before Asia Cup & World Cup.
However, with Ishan Kishan already becoming a regular member of the Indian team, it would be interesting to see if Samson would be able to find a spot in Playing XI for the ODI matches.
Umran Malik not ready for T20s: Wasim Jaffer
Meanwhile, former Indian batter Wasim Jaffer expressed his shock over selection of Umran Malik in the team. Jaffer believes that the speedster is more suited for Test of ODI cricket.
“I am surprised with Umran Malik’s selection. We have seen him concede a lot of runs in T20 cricket. He is more suited to Test or one-day cricket. He needs to learn the art of T20 cricket. I do not think he is ready for T20 cricket,” Jaffer said.
Notably, Malik has played 8 ODIs and as many T20Is for the team, picking 13 wickets in ODIs and 11 in the shortest format.
