WPL 2024: Initially, Chamari Athapaththu was not picked in the WPL Auctions, and was a late injury replacement in UP Warriorz.

The first WPL 2024 encounter between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals on Friday, in Bengaluru, was a memorable one with Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. going past the finishing line with a last ball six by S Sajana. There were other notable performances too in the match, that will be remembered for long, with Delhi all-rounder Alice Capsey slamming 75, and then bagging two wickets.
