The spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja had a lengthy practice session ahead of the IND vs SA 1sr Test. The first IND vs SA Test match is set to be played at the SuperSport Park in Centurion starting from December 26 (Tuesday) onwards. In a video uploaded by Ashwin, the spin duo were talking about the bowling technicalities as Ashwin later went on to trap Shubman Gill in front of the wickets. WATCH:
Ashwin also uploaded the same video on his Instagram account as he also wrote a funny caption on his post. “Ravi(Indiran) & Ravi(Chandran) 😂😂☺️ Picked this out from the captions suggested in yesterday’s post. Once again caption suggestions are welcome,” wrote Ashwin on his Instagram account. Jadeja also commented on the post, which read: “I m with 🐐 (G.O.A.T. – as in Greatest of All Time)”
In a Test venue known to favour pacers, Ravindra Jadeja is expected to feature in the playing XI, but the inclusion of top-ranked Test bowler Ravichandran Ashwin remains doubtful for IND vs SA 1st Test. All-rounder Shardul Thakur is likely to take Ashwin’s place. Leading the pace attack will be Jasprit Bumrah, supported by Mohammed Siraj as the second new ball bowler for the team captained by Rohit Sharma.
