The Melbourne Cricket Ground witnessed a special moment of love when a man from a crowd proposed to his girl-friend during the match between the Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash League (BBL).
The incident took place when an interviewer was interacting with the spectators during the match when this man grabbed the golden opportunity to propose to his girl-friend in front of MCG crowd.
Interestingly, the couples were supporting opposite teams but they have specially come to watch Glenn Maxwell as both are his huge fans.
In the match, Stars won the match by eight wickets after reducing Renegades to 97 runs 14-over in a rain-affected match.
Maxwell took a wicket in his three overs and later hit 32 off 15 deliveries. Maxwell also won Player of the Match in his 100th BBL game. With four victories in seven games, the Stars are currently ranked third in the points table, while the Renegades have dropped to the bottom with five defeats in six games.
