Watch South Africa Cricket team struggle How to pronounce Thiruvananthapuram

South Africa team is currently in Thiruvananthapuram where they will face New Zealand in second World Cup Warm-up match.

Team South Africa has arrived in India with an ambition to win the World Cup for the first time. Meanwhile, a video on social media is going viral where the South African players are struggling to pronounce Thiruvananthapuram. A clip of the same was also shared by the senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on his ‘X’ account on Sunday.

Proteas will face New Zealand in second warm-up match

Temba Bavuma and Co. are currently in Thiruvananthapuram as they look to take on New Zealand in their second warm-up match of the competition. Earlier, their first match against Afghanistan was abadoned due to the rain. On the other hand, the Kiwis are coming to match after defeating Pakistan. The warm-up match between SA and NZ will be played on October 2 at the Greenfield International Stadium.

It must be mentioned that South Africa has never won a World Cup, and last reached the semi-finals in the 2015 edition. They look to win their maiden title this year with a skilled and experienced squad. South Africa was the second to announce its World Cup squad after India on September 5.
