WATCH: Skipper KL Rahul ace back-to-back DRS calls in IND vs SA 3rd ODI

KL Rahul and Co. completed an ODI series win over South Africa in Paarl on Thursday.

Team India skipper KL Rahul failed to get going with the bat in the IND vs SA 3rd ODI. However, he made it up with two brilliant review calls during the second innings of the match The dismissals included the man in form de Zorzi and the all-rounder Wiaan Mulder.

Speaking about the dismissal, Wiaan Mulder was facing Washington Sundar as the batter edged a delivery, but no one appealed except the skipper KL Rahul who also completed the catch. The senior pro went straight for the review and the replays made it clear that Mulder had edged the delivery helping the visitors to scalp another wicket.

To note, KL Rahul and Co. won only their second ODI series in South Africa as they defeated the home side by 78 runs to secure the three-match series by 2-1.

Always love being around the boys. Nice to get back on the cricket field after a disappointing world cup. Have played with a lot of them in the IPL, nice to get out here and play with them. Usually my message is to always enjoy the game, to give your best and not worry about the rest. They’re great cricketers but few of them haven’t played internationally so it’s about giving them some time to adjust,” said KL Rahul after the match.

It’s about making their roles clear and they all gave their 100% so nothing more I can ask. Sanju has been a phenomenal performer in the IPL, unfortunately hasn’t got a lot of chances at the top of the order for various reasons but nice to see him do well today,” he added.
