Normally, when cricketers score a century, they remove their helmets and raise their bats. Sanju Samson did all that, but added an extra element to his celebration

Indian batter Sanju Samson on Thursday played a fantastic knock in the IND vs SA 3rd ODI to bring up his maiden ODI ton in national colours. The batter from Kerala looked within his elements as he played a wide array of shots to bring up his century. What caught the fancy of spectators and netizens was Sanju Samson’s celebration after reaching his ton. Sanju brought out bicep flexing celebration after reaching the 3-figure mark.

The Kerala batter was waiting for his opportunity for a long time, and he grabbed it with both hands on Thursday. South Africa won the toss and put India to bat first. Batting at number three, Samson showed no signs of nerves as he built his innings with utmost patience. The batter kept rotating strike in addition to playing the big shots occasionally. His ball selection was spot on, with the wicketkeeper-batter missing no opportunity to punish a bad ball.
