Romario Shepherd is in hot form in the T20 Leagues around the world this season but with his catches. After taking a breathtaking catch in the SA20 2024, the West Indies all-rounder wowed fans with another stunning catch, this time in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024.
The stunning effort from Shephard came in the eighth over of Khulna Tigers’ innings when Anamul Haque tried to hit Shohidul Islam for a big shot. The pacer bowled a full length delivery. Anamul attempted to flick it over square leg but got an edge.
Shephered, who was stationed at short fine leg, ran back and took a brilliant catch.
Chattogram Challengers stormed into the BPL 2024 playoffs with a convincing 65-run victory over Khulna Tigers in a high-scoring encounter. Tanzid Hasan smashed a brilliant 116 off 65 balls to propel Chattogram to 192 after they elected to bat first.
Khulna’s chase never got going as they lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 127 in 19.5 overs. Shuvagata Hom was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 25.
