The captain of India had a packed schedule. He had visited PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi earlier with the whole team. Soon after, they boarded a plane to return to Mumbai, where the players rode in an open bus parade with thousands of onlookers. The team was congratulated and given the winnings when they arrived at Wankhede Stadium.
