Rohit Sharma crashes JioCinema live Streaming, meets up old friend Abhishek Nayar

Both Rohit Sharma and Abhishek Nayar share a good bond. The duo have been roommates during their early days in cricket.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma crashed the JioCinema live streaming as he had a chat with his old friend Abhishek Nayar and veteran spinner Amit Mishra on September 26 (Tuesday) during a practice session in Rajkot. To note, both Rohit and Nayar have been old friends as they share a good bond from their Under-19 days to their time with Mumbai’s Ranji team. Both Rohit and Nayar also shared an apartment during their early cricketing career in 2011.

In the video, Mishra can be heard asking about Rohit’s body and fitness ahead of the mega event. Rohit quirky as always replied ‘Feeling to acha hai, Jab ap log ho ground mai toh sab acha hi hai’ (When you all are here then everything will be fine). As the short conversation ends, Rohit waved to the presenters before heading for batting practice.

Rohit set to return for final ODI vs Australia

Skipper Rohit Sharma is set to return in the Indian playing XI for the final ODI. Meanwhile, the captain on Tuesday said that several players including the likes of Mohammad Shami and Shubman Gill will not be available for the final match of the series.

“We have got a lot of players who are sick and not available, a lot of players have personal problems so they have gone home and a few of the guys have been rested as well. We have got 13 players at this point in time,” said Rohit during the pre-match press meet.

“Obviously, Gill has been rested, Shami, Hardik and Shardul have all gone home…again, personal things. Axar, obviously, is not available for this game,” Rohit added.

The Indian captain said that the viral sickness has affected several players in the team. “There is a bit of viral going around in the team as well. So, there is a lot of uncertainty in the team at this point in time which we cannot help,” he added.

Sharma who himself enjoyed a short break said that the break will help players to rejuvenate. “Looking at the next few weeks it is quite important for us to look after the players and their well-being. So, it is okay for them to be at home at this point — the reason being we want everybody to be fresh during the World Cup and hopefully they can come back fresh,” he said.
