Taking on the opposition early in the innings he slammed Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka for 4 boundaries. The incident took place in the 10th over of the game when the Lanka skipper conceded 17 runs. The Hitman took matters into his own hands and bullied the bowler to smash 4 boundaries all across the park.
Rohit Sharma’s stay in the crease was short-lived after he scored his fifty. He was dismissed on 53 by a ripper of a delivery from Dunith Wellalage. India were cruising through comfortably at 80/0. On came Dunith Wellalage and India lost 3 wickets in very quick succession.
