Team India’s skipper Rohit Sharma was frustrated with himself as he dropped a sitter on the bowling of Axar Patel, denying him the opportunity to get a hat-trick in the IND vs BAN Champions Trophy match. Rohit Sharma apologizes to Axar Patel
Speaking about that eventful over, Axar took the wicket of Tanzid Hasan on his second ball of the spell with wicket-keeper KL Rahul taking a very good catch behind the wickets. Axar did not stopped there as he scalped another wicket on his next delivery dismissing Mushfiqur Rahim with Rahul taking another smart catch behind the wickets.
With Jaker Ali facing the hat-trick ball, Rohit put two slips for Axar while placing himself on the first slip. However, the Indian skipper dropped a sitter denying Axar his hat-trick.
