WATCH: Rishabh Pant rolls back the years, plays ‘kanche’ with kids on the streets

Pant is currently waiting for clearance from the NCA before heading to the Delhi Capitals training camp for the IPL 2024 season.

Rishabh Pant is enjoying his comeback trail. The star wicketkeeper batter, who’s currently undergoing rehabilitation at the NCA, has decided to have some off-field fun by playing ‘kanche’ with kids on the streets. Much like all of us, it seems like Pant also loved to play with marbles in his neighborhood with friends and wanted to relive some of his best childhood memories.

Rishabh Pant comeback

Pant is currently waiting to be given a clear bill of health by the NCA. The Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper is set to make his comeback to cricket on March 23 against the Punjab Kings. Having been out of action for the last 15 months, both the BCCI and DC don’t want to jeopardize the star’s health and fitness.

DC head coach Sourav Ganguly iterated the same, taking about Rishabh Pant with the Times of India. He said:

“He has done everything to get fit and that’s the reason NCA will clear him. Let Rishabh get cleared on Mar 5 only then we’ll talk about captaincy backups. We are taking a cautious approach with him because he has a very long career ahead of him. We don’t want to push him in excitement.”
