It’ll be a comeback to remember when Rishabh Pant takes the field in the upcoming IPL 2024 season. The Delhi Capitals (DC) captain, has been on the sidelines for the past 14 months and is raring to return to cricket. The wicketkeeper batter, who is currently playing his first proper warm-up match in Alur since his injury has posted an montage of his preparations with a little over a month left before the start of the IPL.

Pant was involved in a fatal car accident in the December of 2022. Since the accident, Pant has been absent from cricket since. Pant began his recovery from the accident after a few months, but it was a long procedure and he has been missing in action. Pant is eyeing a comeback in IPL 2024.

However, it has been reported that Pant will not be keeping in IPL 2024 and will instead be captaining Delhi Capitals as a pure batter. Pant might even play as an impact player.

However, Pant put out a post on social media on Tuesday where he is seen wicketkeeping in full swing. However, the clip does not any way mean cricket fans can expect to see Pant behind the Stumps in IPL 2024.
