Watch Rishabh Pant hit towering one-handed sixes in practice ahead of IPL 2024

IPL 2024: Ahead of joining Delhi Capitals camp, Rishabh Pant toils hard in practice session, slams one-handed sixes

Rishabh Pant is gearing up for IPL 2024. The Delhi Capitals skipper was spotted toiling hard in the nets as he nears his fitness. Pant is waiting to get his clearance from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and join the Delhi Capitals squad for the upcoming tournament.

Rishabh Pant is prolific six hitter. The southpaw was spotted hitting his trademark one handed sixes in practice. Following his near fatal injury, Pant couldn’t take part in IPL 2023. But after 1.5 years, he is pushing full throttle to be back with the DC team.

Delhi Capitals made it clear that Rishabh Pant will remain as the captain of the team. Earlier, it was reported that Pant will feature as an impact player. There is no chance that he will keep wickets for the Delhi outfits. Sourav Ganguly too clarified that Pant won’t stand behind the wickets.

Rishabh Pant continues to toil and sweat hard in the practice games. He is keen to pass his fitness test and join the squad for the pre season campaign. Pant is a destructive batter. And he showcased his aggressive approach of hitting long and towering sixes in the practice game.

Delhi Capitals take on Punjab Kings in their opening game of the campaign on 23rd March.
