Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant on Wednesday issued a heartwarming apology to a camera operator who was struck by a shot from a star batter. At the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, April 24, DC defeated GT by a razor-thin margin of 4 runs. Because of his outstanding 88 runs from 43 balls, Pant was declared the Player of the Match.
After the game, Rishabh Pant was seen with DC‘s head coach Ricky Ponting in a video posted on the IPL’s official social media account. Pant apologized to the camera operator and said he hoped for a speedier recovery.
“Sorry Debashish bhai, did not intend to hit you, but I think you can recover well and good luck,” Pant said in the video.

“One of the camerapersons from our BCCI Production Crew got hit during the DC vs GT match. Rishabh Pant – Delhi Capitals’ captain and Player of the Match – has a special message for the cameraperson,” the caption read.
Pant delivered a particularly hard blow, reverting to his old-fashioned manner of doing things. The camera person must have been the prey. Pant, however, asked for an apology for his inadvertent act out of kindness.
