The incident took place in the last ball of the 2nd over. Arshdeep has previously conceded 18 runs from the previous 5 balls. Hendricks, a man on a mission took prisoners as he continued his destructive carnage.

Arshdeep Singh decides to change his side to angle in, into the right-hander. Round the wicket, he comes and sees a premeditated Hendricks charging down at him. Arshdeep drops the ball right into his striking zone and the ball disappears.

With incredible timing and the pace of the ball, Hendricks hammers the ball over deep mid wicket as the ball crosses the ground to fall into the woods. Such was the intensity of the hit that the ball travelled 93 meters to give Hendricks a maximum and South Africa a much needed strong start in the run chase.

Insidesport

Coming to the game, India was tasked to bat first after Proteas skipper Aiden Markram won the toss and opted to bowl first. India lost both their openers early but SKY and Rinku Singh slammed individual fifties to post a big total before rain came to play spoilsport.

Courtesy of the rain, South Africa was tasked to chase 152 runs in 15 overs. The Proteas batters came with all guns blazing to unleash their carnage to seal the win by 5 wickets.
