Watch Ravindra Jadeja have Fun Interaction with Chahal during Rain Break

Ravindra Jadeja was seen captured having a fun poke at Yuzvendra Chahal during a rain halt in the second ODI.

Senior all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja did not fared well with the bat in the second ODI against West Indies as he was scalped for just 10 runs. After being invited to have a bat first, the visitors were bundled out for just 181 runs with Ishan Kishan being the highest run-getter after stroking back to back fifties. Meanwhile, Jadeja was seen captured having a fun poke at Yuzvendra Chahal during a rain halt in the second ODI.

Jadeja was scalped by Romario Shepherd for 10 Runs

Put into bat first, India got off to a solid start courtesy of their openers Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill as they put on 90 run stand for the first wicket. But once Gill fell for 34 and Kishan fell for 55, the collapse began as India went from 90/0 to 113/5 at the first rain break and never recovered.

West Indies were brilliant with the ball and in the field. Romario Shepherd was the star as he destroyed India initially with 3 wickets for 37 runs in 8 overs. Gudakesh Motie got 3 wickets and picked up the last wicket as he finished with 3/36 in 9.5 overs. A couple of wickets for Alzarri Joseph and a wicket apiece for Jayden Seales and Yannick Cariah. The hosts will be the happier side at the break.

Insidesport

“Yeah, try to run in hard and try to hit the pitch because you see, when you hit the wickets, you get something out of it. So that was in my bowling plan today, especially, you know, to some of the Indian batsmen, don’t want to bowl too full to them. Well, basically when I came in, I got a wicket and that set the tone. Basically, the guy started to push a bit and he started to squeeze them there and eventually, you got another wicket that put pressure back on them,’ said Romario during mid-innings break.
